What you get when you open it
Type h5.wpk.com into a phone browser and the page title is “WePoker-H5”. The root site, www.wpk.com, is a 990-byte landing page whose description pushes the “official genuine APP download” and the 安全卫士 (security guard) anti-cheat. The H5 build is the browser route to the same product, aimed at people who cannot or do not want to install the app, or who are on iOS and use “add to home screen”.
The page checks navigator.standalone and has a branch for iOS home-screen mode, so Apple users are an intended audience. Everything else happens after login, inside a club.
What the served files show
I inspected the live host on 13 October 2026 using plain HTTP requests, without logging in. File hashes in the bundle names change with every release, so treat the exact strings as a snapshot.
I did not install the Android or iOS app, log into a club, or capture game traffic. I cannot say if the app and the H5 build share the same server protocol, or whether the 安全卫士 module exists in the browser version. WePoker’s own description attaches that module to the app download. No evidence shows H5 is “less monitored” or “more monitored”.
H5 vs the app on the points people ask about
Safety of the install
There is nothing to install. The search results for “wepoker apk” are full of modified installers, and a modified installer runs with the permissions of an app on your phone. A browser tab does not. If someone in a chat sends you an “H5 version with the plugin built in”, the domain settles it: the real one is under wpk.com, and anything else is a copy of the login screen.
Account and club access
Play still goes through a club, with an agent and diamond settlement behind it. The browser does not change who holds the ledger. If a club owner freezes your balance, the H5 session is as frozen as the app one. The comparison table covers how much of that control sits with the owner on WePoker versus the other apps.
What “detection” means here
Hole cards and the shuffle are generated on the operator’s servers and sent to each seat, whatever client you use. A web client cannot see another player’s cards, and neither can a plugin sitting on top of it. This is why the claims in the six-claims rundown about seeing hole cards or controlling the deck fail in H5 exactly as they fail in the app. A client exposes your screen, input timing, device signals and network signals. A tool that reads the screen and clicks for you is the one category that exists, and it leaves behaviour a platform can measure. I am not going to explain how to hide that, and no seller can promise it stays hidden.
Why sellers pitch “H5 外挂”
“H5” sounds like an open web page, and open pages sound hackable. A canvas client with pinned scripts and server-side dealing is not. The usual H5 pitch is a screen recording with a cropped demo, a fee up front and a chat handle. The Chinese scam breakdown goes through the three kinds of download page used for this (cloud-drive link, fake official site, cracked-version forum post).
Questions people type
Is the WePoker H5 version official?
Yes, when it is served from h5.wpk.com and the certificate is for wpk.com. I read the files from that host; I make no claim about any other address.
Can you play WePoker in a browser on a PC?
The build is declared portrait-only and meant for phones. I did not test a desktop session. A desktop browser opens the same host, but the layout is what the phone build gives you.
Is it safer than the APK?
For installing, yes: nothing runs on your phone outside the browser. For your account, I found no difference. Passwords, club agents and diamond transfers are the same exposure either way.
Does H5 get banned less?
The home page relays agents saying they review H5 and native sessions the same way. That is their account; nothing in the served files confirms or contradicts it. Bans come from club owners and the platform acting on behaviour and complaints, and I found no sign that the client type enters into it.
If you were sent an H5 link and want a second opinion, send it through the contact button below with the domain and what you were told it does.
